MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS - IT'S TIME TO OPT BACK IN FOR 2023
Happy New Year Soulsters! I hope it's been a good one so far!
It's also the time of year when I reset all the memberships and clean out the email lists so, if you want to keep singing with Soul Song in 2023, it's time to opt back in by completing a quick form.
In fact, even if you're not going to be singing with us this year, it would be helpful for you to fill in the form so I know whether you want to be taken off all mailing lists or just have your membership put into snooze mode for a bit.
So, in order to keep access to the website and to have your new 2023 name badge ready to go at the first rehearsal, please opt back in using the link below.
But before you opt back in or let me know you're opting out, there are a few things you need to know:
1) Rehearsals start back very soon!
- Monday 16 Jan, 6.30pm (QLD time): Geebung & Viral - Geebung Bowls Club
- Tuesday 17 Jan, 6.30pm: Cairns - Cairns Senior Citizens Club
- Wednesday 18 Jan, 6.30pm (QLD time): West End and Viral - AHEPA Hall
- Thursday 19 Jan, 9.30-11.30am: Bulimba - Bulimba Community Centre
2) I have simplified our membership and fee structure for 2023.
All members now get the same access to resources and same benefits - there are no longer Subscription or Casual memberships.
Along with this change, comes a change in fee structure and, unfortunately, a slight increase because so many of my expenses have also increased and I haven't increased my fees for several years.
Fees can be still be paid on a weekly basis on arrival at rehearsal (cash or card) or can be paid as a single term payment for a discount equivalent to 2-3 rehearsals depending on the term.
- Weekly payments at rehearsal - $20 standard, $13 concession
- Term payments $187 standard, $121 concession (equal to about $16.50/$10.50 per rehearsal)
Please note: there is no refund for unused rehearsals, however, you can switch between term payments and weekly payments each term so if you know that you're going to miss a chunk of rehearsals in any given term. you might want to pay casually that term.
Please also note, I know that this is a significant increase in the casual rate for non concession members but you get access to a lot more resources and if you switch over to the term fee, you get three weeks free! Plus, all renewing members get a free 2023 membership pack! However, I'm aware that this increase comes without much notice so if the price increase will stop you from coming, please email me (jacqueline@soulsongchoirs.com.au) or call me on 0412 255587 and we can chat about it and work something out - absolutely no judgement. While Soul Song is how I make my living, I know how much some people need music in their lives, especially when other areas of life are stressful so I want to make sure that money is never a reason for not singing.
You'll need to select your new membership level on the renewal form.
